The Haunted Boy In The Sixth Sense Is Making His Big Screen Return

It’s been more than 15 years since Haley Joel Osment uttered the famous line “I see dead people” in the thriller movie “The Sixth Sense”. Osment also starred in Forrest Gump where he played the title character’s son. Another one was his break out role as Cole Sear which made him the second youngest to be nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the Academy awards. Aside from starring in Pay It Forwards and A.I. (Artificial Intelligence), Osment made regular TV appearances and even did voice work for the Disney video game series Kingdom Hearts.

When Osment turned 18, he took a break from Hollywood and went to New York. In an interview, he said “It was always college. My mum’s a sixth-grade teacher, so it was never really negotiable. And luckily, I wanted to go to college, too”. Haley graduated from the NYU’s Tisch School Of The Arts where he studied experimental theater. “You can only go to college at that time in your life once, when you are 18, in order to sort of figure out what you want in your life,” he added. Even after graduating on 2011, he has been working steadily. Upon his return, his biggest role was in Entourage where he played Travis McCredle, the main antagonist in the movie. This is the role that changed his childhood imagery.
